The Government Blockchain Association (GBA) is an international non-profit association committed to helping government, public sector professionals & organizations around the world to understand, implement and benefit from blockchain related technologies and capabilities.
Established in early 2017, in Washington DC, the GBA is an International Professional Association and a US-based non-profit, membership organization that consists of individuals and organizations. GBA creates relationships that would otherwise not come about – between and among technologists, public policy makers, application specialists and those who simply need to understand the new and emerging digital currencies that will change the world. GBA will act as a catalyst in creating a public dialog around the creative, profitable and positive leveraging of blockchain. Since the association started, we have received tremendous feedback from the community, counting more than 1,500 members across 63 chapters as of today.
Our 24 working groups allows us to cover a very large panel of Blockchain use cases for Governments. from Healthcare to crypto assets regulation, Voting, Energy, supply chain or Digital identity. We gather the greatest minds globally and gather them for the greater good.
Each chapter works closely with its local governments and other local blockchain associations to produce great content that each chapter and working groups can learn from, but also a great global community through regular, thematic events around disruptive technology and Governments.
The London Chapter organizes a broad range of events including: Monthly events, Hackathons (every two months), Publications, Podcasts, Roundtables, VC pitches
